Terms and Conditions Please read the terms of sale carefully before placing your order. For future reference retain a copy of these terms with your order. 1 The contract 1a These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Little Folk, The Studio, 43 Landcroft Lane, Sutton Bonington, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 5RE. 1b No contract exists between you and Little Folk for the sale of any goods until Little Folk has received and accepted your order and sent you confirmation in writing or by email to the address or email address you have given. Once Little Folk does so, there is a binding legal contract between us. 1c The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below). 1d Little Folk may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales. 2 Description and price of goods 2a The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on the Little Folk website at the time you place your order. Whilst every effort is made to reproduce the colour accurately Little Folk will not be held responsible for variations in colour from those shown on the Little Folk website. 2b The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available, Little Folk will inform you as soon as possible. A refund or credit for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods will be made to you. Little Folk reserve the right to cancel any orders if the goods you have ordered are not available. 2c Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Little Folk website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, Little Folk will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel, Little Folk will refund or credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. 2d Little Folk reserve the right to increase the prices on the Little Folk website at any time. 2e In addition to the price, in the case of overseas deliveries a handling charge may be applicable. 2f VAT is not chargeable on the price of the goods or delivery charges at the moment but is subject to review at any time. 3 Payment Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown on the Little Folk website at the time you place your order. 4 Delivery 4a -The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. 4b Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted, and in any event within 30 working days of your order. If delivery cannot be made Little Folk will inform you as soon as possible. A refund or credit for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card will be made to you. Little Folk will not be liable for any other loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. 4c You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for risk of loss or damage to them once they have been delivered to you. 4d All orders are sent by Royal Mail and are either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery. These types of delivery require a signature upon receipt of the goods. If you are unable to sign for the goods a Royal Mail delivery card will be left with information of the nearest collection point. If the goods are not collected within 1 week they will be returned to Little Folk. Little Folk will charge the full cost for postal and packaging for re-delivering the package. 5 Cancellation 5a You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after placing your order (see below). A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays. 5b - You will be responsible for returning the goods to the Company at your own cost. The goods must be returned to Little Folk, The Studio, 43 Landcroft Lane, Sutton Bonington, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 5RE. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. 5c Once you have notified Little Folk that you are cancelling the contract (see 5a), Little Folk will refund or credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. 5d If you do not return the goods as required, Little Folk may charge you a sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. Little Folk may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct cost of recovering the goods. 5e You do not have the right to cancel the contract if the order is for personalised goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. 6 Complaints If you have any complaint about the goods, you should contact us in within 14 days of receiving the goods by writing to Little Folk, The Studio, 43 Landcroft Lane, Sutton Bonington, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 5RE, by phone on 01509 670335 or by email at ruthandrupert@littlefolk.co.uk. We may ask you to send photos of the damaged/faulty items and the associated packaging. 7 Data protection 7a Little Folk will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless Little Folk is negligent, Little Folk will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you. 7b Little Folk will only use the information provided about yourself as shown below. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. We need specific information when you place an order. When you order we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address and credit/debit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your order and notify you of your order status. We also ask you for your telephone number(s) so that we can contact you easily if required. Any personal data relating to you will be used and recorded by us in accordance with current data protection legislation. We use the information collected from you to process orders and to provide a more personalised shopping experience. We may use your personal information to communicate with you, for record keeping purposes, to track activity on our site and to improve usefulness and content. We may in the future use other companies to provide services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customers’ questions about products or services, sending postal mail and e-mails, analysing data and processing credit card payments. They are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. 8 Applicable law These terms of sale and supply of the goods will be subject to English law, and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract. « Back |
